Here's an excerpt from a diary written by a one of our volunteers who is a frequent presence in the dailykos community, Ilona Meagher. She has extensive experience in working with veterans through Post-Traumatic Stress Syndrome.

I want to thank all of you who've made NFTT into the positive force that it is....being there in spirit and/or contribution is a nourishment for the soul -- and the goal, too. This is a thank you letter we received from one of the soldiers who received a Care package:
